I am Nancy Boutcher, roving reporter and conference support staff this year. I usually attend this event as a guest, but this year COMMON is providing admin support to Barsa Consulting, so I'm here to work. My coworkers Cherese Morgan and Fred Pritchard are here as well, as you can see in the photo.
The Saturday Seminars have begun with all registrants in attendance. So far, so good. It's looking like I will have some time to get outdoors, see the area and report back on cool stuff I find. From my sleeping room balcony, I can see that the beach is a short stroll out the hotel to the west, and last night I enjoyed a wonderful dinner with our group just across the street on the east side of the hotel. Literally a two minute walk!

Unfortunately I could only stay for Saturday due to other speaking commitments because it's a very nice place! I had no time for the 'speaker ready room' or to get sunburned! What I did see was people having fun everywhere from boating to ping-pong and everything in between!
Hopefully I'll get invited back in the future when I'll have enough time to enjoy the relaxing atmosphere, the beach, and the water!
ps: That was a GOOD cookie!
Clearwater Beach is a terrific new location for the conference, it is very family friendly with a spectacular beach and a large selection of affordable dining within walking distance of the hotel. I've had great dinners at Bobby's Bistro last night and Dominic Capri's.
Clearwater Beach is GREAT!!!
We can walk to everything, tons of choices for food and the beach is fantastic!
